Our comments: The menu has labelled vegan options. The roasted vegetable jalfrezi, served with a mixed salad & rice is vegan and there may be suitable specials. Check twoforonespecials.co.uk to see what specials are on in the pub. The sides of house salad, garlic bread and harissa rice or lime & coriander rice are suitable. The chips, skin-on fries, homemade potato wedges and onion rings may be suitable; ask if they have a dedicated fryer for vegan dishes. The praline chocolate tart dessert is vegan, if ordered without ice cream.

Our comments: Harvester restaurant have labelled vegan options. The suitable mains are aubergine & red lentil tagine (giant couscous cooked with apricots, raisins, coriander & red pepper, topped with a Moroccan-inspired spiced stew, with flat bread & avocado dip), penne arrabiata (with black olives, kappia pepper& watercress) and stuffed red pepper (stuffed with sweet potato, black bean & quinoa chilli, with spicy tomato & black bean rice & sweet potato fries). The vegan sides are fries, sage & onion seasoned fries, sweet potato fries, spicy rice, steamed vegetables and jacket potato. For dessert you can have the coconut & raspberry rice pudding.
There are two labelled vegan dishes on the menu; vegetable Penang (cauliflower, green beans, mangetout & peppers, in an aromatic coconut curry, served with rice) and sweet chilli noodles (wheat noodles, baby corn, water chestnuts & pak choi, in a sweet chilli sauce, flavoured with soy, ginger & chilli).
There are four labelled vegan options on the menu: Grilled vegetable jambalaya (Creole-style rice with black beans, peppers and okra topped with grilled vegetables), sweet potato, lentil & spinach dhansak (served with basmati rice, poppadoms, mango chutney and fresh tomato & onion salsa), superfood salad (fresh baby spinach and gem lettuce mixed with tomatoes, cucumber and red pepper, topped with a mix of bulgur wheat, chickpeas, grilled courgette and sultanas with a hint of mint, served with reduced calorie dressing) and jerk bean burger (no bun) with grilled pineapple & tomato salsa, baby potatoes, salad garnish & BBQ sauce.
The pizza bases do not contain any non-vegan ingredients but there may be a risk of cross contamination from animal products. If you find this acceptable, pizzas without cheese can be ordered from Papa John’s. The sides of corn on the cob and potato wedges are suitable for vegans.
