Our comments: Cafe at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, serving homemade food. Inform the staff that you are vegan, the chefs understand the requirements. There is always something vegan on the menu such as nut or bean burgers, served with a tangy homemade tomato sauce and salads. The soup is often vegan, for example lightly spiced yellow split pea & spinach. The rolls normally served with the soups are glazed with egg but these can be replaced with baguettes or toast and they do stock dairy free spread. Soya milk is available for drinks.
On the banks of the River Teifi. The Welsh Wildlife Centre is signposted, once you reach the village of Pen-y-Bryn.
