Our comments: There is a falafel burger labelled as vegan on the menu. They are also willing to provide a different vegan meal, if asked in advance, such as roasted butternut squash with tofu. Our researcher did not consider this alternative very good value for money and thought that it had good points including lovely sweet potato fries and berry reduction but some bad points too. They were however impressed with the fact they are making an effort to cater for vegans.

Location:
Just off the High Street in Narberth, behind the clock tower, on Water Street.

Price:

Our comments: The menu is based on the ingredients they sell in the deli, so is very much based on cured meats, fish and cheeses but they can offer vegans a good meal nonetheless. The following dishes can be suitable, if you inform the staff that you are vegan.
Para picar (or bits to pick at): Aceitunas (selection of olives), pan (selection of bread from the deli), pan con tomate (toasted bread with tomato, garlic & olive oil), almendras (Valencian almonds, fried & salted), patatas bravas (fried new potatoes, ask for no non-vegan accompaniments).
Ensaladas (salads): Ensalada mixta (mixed green salad), ensalada de tomate (tomato salad).
Verduras (vegetables): Champiñones al ajillo (garlic mushrooms cooked with sherry, ask for no cream), pisto manchego (roast vegetables, ask for no cheese and egg).
They also have daily specials, which vary. At the time of research the suitable options were pimientos de Padrón and grilled asparagus with romesco sauce.
The staff here are very helpful and in the shop they have wonderful olives, breads, interesting snacks and some outstanding expensive wines. In the café area at the back there are many people eating meat and it smell of meat…so perhaps not the best option for eating in.

Location:
On Narberth High Street.
