Our comments: Great little vegetarian café and smoothie bar; they understand and cater for the vegan diet really well. The food is great and the service friendly, well worth a visit if you are in Aberystwyth. The following options are suitable.
Burgers: Veggie burger, tofu & sesame burger (served with chips & guacamole or chilli chutney).
Tapas and salads: Bread (ciabatta, GF focaccia or sourdough), falafel with chilli jam, pesto gnocchi, Halkidiki and Kalamata olives, quinoa tabbouleh salad, mango & avocado salad, seasonal green salad leaves, hummus.
Extras: Hand cut chips, sweet potato fries, side salad.
Organic sourdough toast, with vegan spread.
Seasonal soup, served with organic sourdough bread & vegan spread.
Just for kids: Pesto gnocchi, beans on sourdough toast, Ella’s kitchen pouches.
Toasted ciabatta (until 5pm): Vegan cheese, mushroom, spinach & garlic.
Cakes: Chocolate cupcake, date flapjack, cocoa cluster brownie, lemon polenta slice, blueberry muffin.
Desserts: Add chocolate sauce or coconut ice cream to any cake, affogato dessert (coconut ice cream, organic coffee & pistachio).
There are a few extra dishes on the evening menu, served after 5pm.
Mains: Mushroom ragu (with crusty organic sourdough), hummus & falafel (with green salad, chilli chutney & aubergine tapenade).
Starters, sides, tapas: Rhino mezze (hummus, olive oil, za’atar, tahini yogurt sauce, Provencal olives, sourdough bread, chilli chutney, guacamole), chargrilled harissa vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli & peppers), leek fritters (with tahini yogurt sauce).
Soya milk, rice milk, almond milk and dairy free ice cream are available for smoothies, shakes and hot drinks.
