Our comments: Wagamama have a vegan menu, consisting of the following dishes.
Sides: Edamame (steamed edamame beans, served with salt or chilli garlic salt), wok-fried greens (tenderstem broccoli & bok choi, stir-fried in a garlic & soy sauce), yasai gyoza (five steamed dumplings, filled with vegetables, served grilled with a dipping sauce), raw salad (mixed leaves, edamame beans, baby plum tomatoes, seaweed & pickled mooli, carrot & red onion, topped with fried shallots with a soy dressing).
Mains: Yasai itame (rice noodles in a spicy green coconut & lemongrass soup with tofu & vegetables, topped with stir-fried beansprouts, red & spring onions, bok choi, peppers, mushrooms & chilli, garnished with coriander & fresh lime), kare burosu ramen (shichimi-coated silken tofu & grilled mixed mushrooms on a bed of udon noodles in a curried vegetable broth, finished with pea shoots, carrot, chilli & coriander), yasai pad Thai (rice noodles in an amai sauce with tofu, beansprouts, leeks, chilli & red onion, garnished with fried shallots, peanuts, mint, coriander & fresh lime), yasai yaki soba (udon or rice noodles with mushrooms, peppers, beansprouts, white & spring onions, garnished with fried shallots, pickled ginger & sesame seeds), warm chilli yasai salad (tofu with stir-fried peppers, mangetout, tenderstem broccoli & red onion on a bed of baby gem lettuce, dressed in a sweet chilli sauce & garnished with spring onions & cashew nuts), yasai samia curry (fragrant, spicy lemongrass & coconut curry with tofu, peppers, shitake mushrooms & baby plum tomatoes, served with white rice & garnished with spring onions, chilli & coriander).
Desserts: Pink guava & passion fruit sorbet, lemongrass & lime sorbet (both served with fresh mint).
Extras: Miso soup & Japanese pickles, chillies, Japanese pickles.
