Our comments: There are always vegan mains and cakes on the menu. Examples of mains they have served are mushroom, chickpea & spinach stew, served with seasonal vegetable & potatoes of your choice, chef’s veg curry with a naan bread, poppadum and rice or chips and roasted pepper with a medley of Mediterranean vegetables, served with rice, chips or half & half. Previously offered cakes include chocolate ginger tiffin, cherry & almond slice and blueberry lemon cake.
The menu has labelled vegan options; the mains of grilled harissa aubergine, basil pesto penne and roasted vegetable jalfrezi, the sides of spiced cauliflower & kale brown rice, Asian slaw, saag aloo and garlic bread and the dessert of apple pie.
