Breakfast (served 9am-11.30am): Little Valley Bakery toast (with olive oil), homemade oat & nut granola (served with fruit compote, fresh fruit & homemade coconut yogurt), Anna’s avo (smashed avocado on toasted sourdough with edamame, sprinkled with dukkah), miso mushrooms (served on herbed sourdough toast or potato hash), chia bowl (coconut & banana chia pudding served with fruit compote & fresh fruit).
Daytime (served noon-3pm): Vegan mac and cheese (served with herb crust & side salad), Boo’s burger (smoky maple bean burger served with chips & salad)), dahl bowl (lentil dahl, brown rice, fresh slaw, date chutney, coriander & toasted seeds), the Mexican (smoky pulled jackfruit, corn salsa, brown rice, slaw & guacamole), the Reuben toastie (pulled jackfruit, sauerkraut, gherkin & Russian dressing).
There are also vegan cakes and a choice of plant based milks. Gluten free options are available.

Comments: The Parsnipship produces and sells unique and original vegetarian and vegan food at farmers markets, food fairs, events and wholesale. The vegan options are beetroot bomb, tandoori chickpea & lentil mash-up and wild mushroom nut roast.

The mains are two salads, two bowls and a 'Beyond Meat' cheese burger. The cakes include dark chocolate & orange torte and carrot cake. Almond, oat and soya milks are stocked for coffees etc. Vegan alcoholic drinks, including wine are available, ask a staff member. It is dog friendly.

Comments: They serve Mr Nice Pie gourmet savoury vegan pies with your choice of potato and Mediterranean vegetables. The options are rendang curry pie, drunken mushroom pie, Moorish Moroccan tagine pie, caramelised onion & beetroot pie and roast pumpkin & red lentil curry pie. They can offer sorbet for dessert, if you ask, it is not on the menu. The staff are friendly and helpful to vegans. They also have a section you can sit in and eat that is dog friendly.

Comments: The Village Inn has a full vegan menu of excellent food. The starters are soup, faux gras (mushroom & cognac pate), cauliflower 'buffalo wings' and golden crispy fried cashew nut Brie. The mains consist of stuffed 'cheeseburger' dough ball sliders, oyster mushroom 'fried chicken', tofu 'fish & chips', seitan 'steak' & chips and king oyster mushroom Chinese style sticky 'ribs'. The desserts include options such as chocolate tart. The veggie option for Sunday roast dinner is vegan by default and includes great cauliflower ch**se. The staff seem informed, the service is good and the décor & ambience are great.

Comments: The menu has a specific vegan curry option (roasted courgette & butternut squash, mixed peppers and pineapple chunks, in a rich curry sauce). It may be possible to veganise other dishes. Soya milk is available for drinks.

Comments: Inform the staff that you are vegan; the restaurant can cater. The two vegetarian mains contain halloumi but this can be omitted. There are a number of very nice hot and cold appetizers that are suitable and a selection of these make a good main choice for vegans. It would probably be prudent to inform the staff you are vegan on booking, if possible.

Comments: The labelled vegan options are pizza with vegan cheese, three pasta dishes (one with fusilli pasta made from peas), a puy lentil salad, mixed salad side and marinated olives starter.

They also stock vegan vanilla & strawberry ice creams but the sorbets contain milk powder. Soya milk is available for drinks.
