Comments: Canteen 18 is Swansea’s only fully vegan café and is a lovely place, run by lovely people. They serve a full breakfast until noon consisting of sosage, scrambled tofu, smoky beans, mushrooms, hash brown & toast or you can make your own with a choice of those ingredients plus tempeh rashers, sliced tomato & spinach and avocado. Between midday and 3pm they offer lunches. The menu changes but at the time of research the dishes on offer were vegetable lasagne, tandoori tofu masala, chorizo rissole, lettuce, pea & mint soup, tofish, sosmeat sandwich & brown sauce and jacket potatoes. They offer sides of chips, rice, half & half or salad. There are cakes and scones (with jam & coconut clotted cream) available all day. On Sundays they do lunches such as cottage pie or sausage & potato pie, served with fresh vegetables, new potatoes, roasties and gravy.

The best vegan hot dog I've ever had, lockdown meant we couldn't eat inside but out the menu available was amazing and everything we had was really good, good prices for great food. Insane curry sauce, so good. Very friendly staff, felt welcome

Have been back here on several occasions since my first visit in 2021. The Vegan Breakfast, for me, is the benchmark! Can't fault this super little place! Check opening hours.

Bought 3 flat whites in takeaway containers the 3 cardboard containers were just about half full @ £2-50 each. this was an absolute rip off. took them back and told this was normal for a flat white. we had not drunk any of the coffee prior to taking it back. Will not buy coffee here again.
