Our comments: This coffee shop is popular with local vegans. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is made fresh to order with many local ingredients. An example of a suitable option served would be avocado on toast with chilli & balsamic. Plant milk coffees are available.
On West Cross Lane, in the West Cross area of Swansea.
There are two labelled vegan options on the menu: Sweet potato, lentil & spinach dhansak (served with basmati rice, poppadoms, mango chutney and fresh tomato & onion salsa) and superfood salad (fresh baby spinach and gem lettuce mixed with tomatoes, cucumber and red pepper, topped with a mix of bulgur wheat, chickpeas, grilled courgette and sultanas with a hint of mint, served with reduced calorie dressing).
Inform the staff that you are vegan. The chickpea, tomato & spinach curry is suitable, if served without crispy onions. The naan bread it comes with is probably not vegan either, check. If prior notice is given they can prepare the three bean chilli and gumbo vegan as well.
