Comments: THIS IS A PUB THAT WENT VEGAN FOR VEGANUARY AND IT WAS SO SUCCESSFUL THAT THEY STAYED FULLY VEGAN !! BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL BECAUSE THEY ARE SO BUSY ALL THE TIME !!

Comments: All you can eat Indian buffet restaurant with a complete vegan curry range. Ask for plain boiled rice. If diners need any help choosing suitable food at the buffet ask the staff or call ahead and pre-order, if that is easier. It is highly recommended by vegans who have visited.

Comments: There are two labelled vegan mains on the menu: Green Thai curry with basmati rice & crunchy chilli slaw and BBQ vegan burger in a bun, topped with BBQ pulled soya & burger sauce, served with skinny cut fries. The sides of chips, skinny cut fries, mixed side salad and sweet potato fries and the dessert of gin fizz sorbet are also marked vegan.

Comments: A recent guest said the staff were really clued up and brought them special condiments as the sauce they usually serve has honey in it. They serve a vegan option every night, pizzas with vegan cheese on Tuesday & Friday. Curry night is on Wednesday and they do a labelled vegan option such as Sri Lankan beetroot curry.

Comments: The labelled vegan options are the starter of vegan nachos, the mains of peri-peri tofu skewers, aubergine & red lentil tagine and Jamaican-style katsu curry, the dessert of coconut & black cherry rice pudding and some sides. The breakfast menu is served until 11.30am and the cooked Hipster breakfast is vegan. Soya milk is stocked for drinks.

Comments: There is a range of vegan pasties, sausage rolls etc. in the chiller that can be taken away and eaten. Also as it is a health food shop, there are plenty of suitable snacks on sale.

Comments: They have a specific vegan menu with options such as curry, chilli, a noodle dish, salad, houmous & roasted vegetable wrap and chips. Pizza without cheese is on offer in certain pubs. The breakfast menu (served until 12 noon) includes a cooked breakfast (with Quorn sausages and vegan spread but no beans) and smashed avocado muffin. Soya milk is available for filter coffees and teas and they have a list of all their vegan friendly drinks.

Comments: Three vegan pizzas are offered: Vegan garden party, vegan hot pepper passion and vegan Scheese & tomato. All three include Scheese vegan cheese alternative as a topping. The sides of potato wedges and vegan Marmite scrolls and the pizza sauce dip are also suitable.

Comments: The pizza bases are suitable for vegans; made daily by themselves, without milk. The vegetarian and vegetarian hot pizza are therefore suitable, without cheese. Unfortunately the fries and wedges are not suitable; they are fried in the same oil as animal products. The garlic bread is not vegan either.
