Comments: Friendly pub with two labelled vegan options; vegan chilli (a rich earthy chilli, made with sweet red peppers, black turtle beans, red kidney beans & chunks of aubergine, served with rice) and vegan shepherd’s pie (vegetables with lentils and bulgar wheat in a rich tomato sauce topped with bubble & squeak cakes, served with peas & chips). Good hearty food for the money and recommended by local vegans.
