Comments: A vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu is available at The Captain Sir Christopher Cole Restaurant. All dishes on the menu are vegan and the chef has definitely put some thought into it. The menu follows; vegans who have dined here highly recommend.
Starters: Spinach soup, mozzarella, sun kissed cherry tomatoes & mizuna salad, edamame bean fettuccini (with cherry tomatoes, chilli & Prosociano shavings), Thai sweet potato cakes (with a chilli & coriander mayonnaise).
Mains: Mushroom & cherry tomato hash (with a roasted tomato & paprika sauce), Hungarian Quorn goulash (served with new potatoes), vegetable schnitzel (with crushed new potatoes & a mushroom sauce), black bean jambalaya (with coriander rice).
Desserts: Lemon swirl cheesecake (served with raw chocolate ice cream), treacle & apple tart (served with custard), strawberry & raspberry chia seed pudding, coffee crème caramel (with minted strawberries), vegan ice cream.
They can also offer a vegan afternoon tea, with a booking. This includes a selection of cakes and savouries, along with tea or coffee.
