In my first experience going to The White Horse, I specified that I was vegan when making the booking, and then mentioned the word vegan multiple times, but I don’t believe the staff caught on. When I asked for the Vegan Curry (Thai Curry that was available as a vegan option), I was then offered Naan Bread (which wasn’t vegan as clearly stated on the menu). For afters I then ordered the vegan apple custard pie, which (on the menu) was supposed to come with dairy-free custard. Instead the item came with ice cream (I was not asked my preference), which led me to be very confused as to whether the dish was vegan or not. It was a very scary experience.
