Comments: The Warren is highly recommended with many superb vegan choices. Dishes are made from scratch with local, seasonal and organic ingredients. There are plenty of gluten free options. A typical choice of vegan dishes would be as follows.
Breakfast (served 10am-noon): Toast with jam, the vegan Full Warren (homemade black bean sausage, mushrooms, kale, beans, avocado, pan fried tofu & toast).
Lunch (served noon-3pm): Seasonal soup with homemade bread, The Warren’s vegan sandwich (crispy tofu, smashed avo, pickles, kale & homemade ketchup with slaw), sweet potato & chickpea pie (with turmeric rice, yoghurt & pickle), tomato, aubergine & red lentil dhal (kale, chutney, raita & flatbread).
Dinner (Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm, vegan alternatives are available for all dishes): Seasonal soup with homemade bread, tofu & mushrooms pad Thai (soba noodles, bean sprouts, carrots, cabbage, chilli, coriander, peanuts & lime), black bean & red pepper veggie ‘meatballs’ (tomato sauce, whole wheat spaghetti & sage), Seed crusted tofu & chips (seed crusted tofu, rosemary polenta fries & kale salad), Thai green veggie thali plate (broccoli, courgette, cauli, spinach & coconut curry, served with turmeric rice, pakora, dhal, flatbread, yoghurt & pickle).
Vegan desserts and cakes are also offered.
