Comments: The Vegan Box Limited is an amazing fully vegan establishment in Caerphilly Indoor Market. The menu includes such dishes as C.F.C (Caerphilly fried chicken), seitan ribz, doner kebap, choona mayo pasta, loaded twice-fried chips & vegan cheese, sausage rolls, pasties and brekkie baps. They have bacon-style rashers, seitan sausages, tofu scramble, black pudding & cheddar-style cheese alternative for the baps. There are also sweet options of cakes, rocky road, raw snickers, chocolate cups, brownies & Welsh cakes. There is a small seating area.

Comments: They have a separate vegan menu with two sides of coleslaw and garlic bread and five mains. These are; homemade sweet potato, spinach & coconut curry, jackfruit Bhuna, BBQ jackfruit burger, sweet potato & falafel burger and three bean chilli.

Comments: They have a separate vegan menu that consists of Starters; soup of the day, sauteed asparagus with lemon & garlic, tomato, olive & basil bruschetta and stuffed flat mushroom. Mains; whole stuffed large pepper, Mediterranean vegetable lasagne, Moroccan couscous, pizza Napoli and pizza margarita. Vegans who have been there were impressed with the food.

Comments: There is a separate vegan menu with starters of jackfruit wedges, balsamic mushrooms and buffalo cauliflower wings, mains of tikka masala, button mushroom bourguignon pie, Moving Mountains B12 burger, buffalo cauliflower tacos and aubergine butternut & pepper bake and desserts (all served with vegan vanilla ice cream) of raspberry jam donut pudding, chocolate & cherry cheesecake and rhubarb & ginger pudding. It also lists the vegan friendly drinks.

The breakfast menu (served until 12 noon) includes a cooked breakfast (with Quorn sausages and vegan spread but no beans) and smashed avocado muffin. Soya milk is available for filter coffees and teas and they have a list of all their vegan friendly drinks.

Comments: Carvery chain restaurant with three labelled vegan mains: Grilled aubergine stack (topped with a vegan white sauce), roast mushroom & ale pie and root vegetable roast. The allergen information section on their website lists the suitable options on the vegetable deck; roast potatoes, sage & onion stuffing and roast veg & onion gravy are vegan. There is also a vegan dessert: Belgian chocolate & raspberry fondant with coconut sorbet.

Comments: There is a vegan menu. It includes starters of falafel, soup and salad, mains of a wrap, thyme roasted plum tomato tart, curry, burger, salad and a pasta dish, sides and sorbet, panna cotta and apple pie desserts. On a Sunday the only vegan dishes are falafel, curry and panna cotta.
