Comments: Friendly restaurant/bar/lounge where they cook their (omni) food freshly and make vegans feel welcome. Their website states that they pride themselves on being extremely vegan friendly. The menu changes but they are always happy to offer vegan options. At the time of research there were two labelled dishes available (see pictures); a starter of cannellini hummus, salt baked beetroot, walnut crumble & rosemary and a main of leek & sage fideuâ pasta, salt baked turnips, burnt shallot & sherry. They could also offer a poached pear & fig compote dessert. It is always lovely, day or evening. They're planning on doing vegan cakes and coffee through the summer too.

Comments: They cater for vegans with options such as vegan fish & chips (seaweed wrapped tofu in a vegan beer batter served with hand cut chips, mushy peas, lemon wedge & homemade vegan tartare sauce), chocolate fudge cake with vegan ice cream and apple pie with vegan ice cream. Be aware that they also serve exotic meat dishes.

Comments: Pizzas with vegan cheese and lots of suitable toppings are available; cooked in a wood fired oven. They also do gluten free pizzas. It is a local business and not part of a big chain.

Comments: Chip shop with four Mr Nice Pie vegan pies on offer; Moorish mushroom, Swedey Todd, bountiful butternut curry and drunken mushroom. The gravy and Irish curry are suitable. The chips are not normally cooked separately from animal products but check if they haven’t just changed the oil.

Comments: They offer a vegan pizza with DOP San Marzano tomatoes, vegan cheese, roasted peppers, red onions, plum tomatoes and rockets.

Comments: Inform the staff at this Cantonese takeaway that you are vegan and do not want any egg, oyster sauce or sauces containing animal products in your dishes. Bean curd and vegetable dishes are available. All cooking oils used are vegetable based. A home delivery service is available.
