Comments: They can cater for vegans, with prior notice, even if it early on the same day of an evening meal. They were able to offer a fixed menu for a party of vegans who dined there recently, with all dishes made to order. It was also the venue for a recent early Christmas meal organised by Newport Vegans and the choices were as follows.
Starters: Butternut squash soup, vegetable brochette, balsamic roasted tomatoes with orange & thyme polenta cake, chicory, orange & pecan salad.
Mains: Baked aubergine Provencal, vegetable kebab, stuffed peppers with a spicy tomato sauce, vegetable medley with carrot puree & roasted shallots.
Desserts: Chocolate brownie, lemon & cinnamon poached pears, warm figs with an orange glaze, fruit salad with raspberry coulis.

Location:
On the corner of Alexandra Road and the SDR carriageway, close to Newport Transporter Bridge.
