Comments: There is a separate vegan menu with starters of jackfruit wedges, balsamic mushrooms and buffalo cauliflower wings, mains of tikka masala, button mushroom bourguignon pie, Moving Mountains B12 burger, buffalo cauliflower tacos and aubergine, butternut & pepper bake and desserts (all served with vegan vanilla ice cream) of raspberry jam donut pudding, chocolate & cherry cheesecake and rhubarb & ginger pudding. It also lists the vegan friendly drinks. Check that any fried items have not been cooked in the same fryers as animal products.

Comments: Explain to the staff that you are vegan; they are helpful and many of the vegetarian dishes such as vegetable dupiaza, pathia, madras, jalfrezi and tarka dall can be provided as vegan. They will amend dishes to suit vegan diners. The pilau rice is not suitable. The mushroom rice is normally made with pilau rice but they can prepare a vegan version with boiled rice.
