Comments: The vegan dishes or dishes that can be adapted to vegan are: Thai green vegetable curry with jasmine rice, tagliatelle with creamy garlic mushroom sauce and spaghetti with tomato sauce. The sides that can be vegan are garlic bread and onion rings. For pud they have brownies with vegan ice cream. Friday night is pizza night and they serve suitable pizzas with vegan cheese. For Sunday lunch there will be something like nut roast, lentil & vegetable cottage pie or sausages plus loads of fresh vegetables and gravy. They will happily provide an extended menu for bookings of more than six vegans. Everything is made on the premises. Vegan visitors here have been pretty impressed.

Comments: A recent vegan guest said they did fantastic vegan breakfasts from full English to pancakes, avocado toast etc. and it was top end cuisine.

Comments: Peppers is an art gallery and music venue with bistro. The vegan option at lunchtime is a Mediterranean vegetable platter and this can also be made as a sandwich. In the evenings they do a suitable chestnut cottage pie as a main course. A vegan cake is often available and soya milk is stocked for drinks.

Comments: The emphasis is as their name; wholefood and healing. It is an excellent health food shop with a very knowledgeable owner. It is not entirely vegan, they stock free range eggs etc. but they have a selection of vegan food including chilled and frozen options.
